Estela Cabezas recently received her BSc in Biotechnology. After some years of experience in laboratories Estela realized how important it is to have a good IT background to follow up with the latest research updates in the biological sector.

Estela was first introduced to the project by Adam in early 2019 to get assistance from the team with her thesis. Since then Estela has volunteered her time to 3 events representing the project, and her second time representing the project as an Intel Software Innovator.

Estela was the first Peter Moss AML & ALL AI Student Program student.

Peter Moss AML/ALL AI Research Project

The Peter Moss Acute Myeloid / Lymphoblastic Leukemia AI Research Project is an open source project with the goals of leveraging Artificial Intelligence to help detect AML/ALL and discover potential candidates for drugs to help combat the diseases.

This project is in memory of Peter Edward Moss who lost his battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in August 2019.
